I highly recommend Summer swim lessons here. We've been going for 3 years and it's a great part of our summer and kiddo learns and has fun. Follow them for updates because classes can fill up fast.

Established in 1964, the Oakbrook Swim & Tennis Club offers a valued aquatics resource for the local community. The pool is a four lane 25 yard facility, that runs from deep water to shallow. The deck is spacious. Locker room facilities provide bathrooms, shower and changing areas. On the deck, there is a shaded picnic pavilion, as well as several barbecues. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. This is a well appreciated aquatic asset of the community.

It looks abandoned. My husband and I were very excited to visit and become members. So today (11/30/2024) we came for a visit and check out the tennis courts. Finding the place was a bit more complicated that we expected, luckily we found the right directions trough a review. As soon as we arrived and looked around, we just couldnβt believe it. So we turned around and tried to find a different entrance. But no, that was the right place. Thereβs no tennis courts and the swimming pool area looks abandoned. We walked around to try to find an office and get more information, but thereβs no office either. So we left.

EDIT TO MY REVIEW: I no longer recommend this pool to anyone. While the swim instructors are amazing and supportive to all the children taking lessons, it is the board, the directors, and the facilities of the pool are the problem. Family bathrooms are not available and for families with multiple children. For the families needing to use the same bathrooms due to one parent being available to do lessons - regardless of gender - I was told to take my child out of the bathroom by another parent who's child was 'uncomfortable with my child being in there', the parent then filmed my child and myself, and this parent got into my personal space. The other parent was given the option to either change to a different class & time or have a refund. They chose the refund. I was then told my child could use the other bathroom, so I used the other bathroom and proceeded to get weird looks from parents as a woman going into the mens bathroom. In the two years we had been here, this has NEVER been an issue and most parents with kids of many genders had them in the bathroom that was easier for the parent. The facility is also very outdated, the bathrooms are not ADA accessible or well maintaine
